Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Tuesday unveiled its electric toothbrush in the country. Priced at Rs 549, Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 comes with a low-noise design and promises a 30-day battery life. According to the handset maker, the toothbrush has been designed with the help of dentists.

Xiaomi’s Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 is available for Rs 549 through crowd-funding on the company’s own Mi.com and according to the company, shipping of the devices would start from July 15. However, those who want to support the crowd-funded toothbrush can do that now. The toothbrush is available only in a white colour variant.
Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 has been launched in India. It comes a little over three months after Xiaomi launched its first electric toothbrush in the country, the Mi Electric Toothbrush T300. The T100 is a more pocket friendly and toned-down version of the T300. It boasts of ultra-soft bristles, low-noise design, and a 30-day battery life. The Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 has a sleek design and is available in a single colour option. Xiaomi also says that the T100 will help the dentists.
Since it is available through Mi Crowdfunding only, prospective buyers have to pre-order the device by making the payment before the slated date of availability. Xiaomi’s Mi T100 is powered by a customised high-frequency motor that produces 18,000 vibrations per minute. As per Xiaomi, the bristles of the device are 93 per cent thinner than the bristles on conventional nylon toothbrush. It is pertinent to note that Xiaomi has not provided any information on the availability of brush heads.
Xiaomi claims the Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 has a 30-day battery life and it also has fast charging support. Also, There is an LED indicator that notifies the user about the battery status and charging status. The electric toothbrush comes with IPX7 rating that makes it withstand water splashes and low-noise operation at 60bB. There is also an anti-slip bump strap on the back. It weighs just 46 grams.
