Laptops by Xiaomi, called RedmiBook is set to launch in India very soon as per the tweet of Managing Director of Xiaomi India, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain. The RedmiBook and Mi Notebook models have been long anticipated in India. Xiaomi was even spotted getting a trademark for its RedmiBook brand in the country earlier this year.

The teaser videos have been uploaded on Twitter which hints at the launch of Xiaomi’s laptops in India. The videos also carry a hashtag of #WhatsNextFromMi.

Last month, Mr. Jain recently intimated retailers about the launch of this Series and Mi Notebook models in the country soon. Agarwal, however, noted that the executive didn’t provide any concrete date or timeline for the launch.

Xiaomi has been selling its laptops in the Chinese market for some time now. Now going by the teasers by the Chinese smartphone major, the company could soon be making an official announcement. 

In China, The RedmiBook 16 Ruilong Edition price is set at RMB 3,799 which is approximately Rs 42,420 in India. However, this price is set for the 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage model. Apart from this, the RedmiBook 14 is available at a discounted price of RMB 3,699 which is roughly Rs 39,240. Similarly, the RedmiBook 13 Ruilong version is priced at RMB 3,799 which is around Rs 40,300 in India. Xiaomi Redmi’s newly launched RedmiBook will go on sale from June 1. The global launch date is not yet released but according to the reports, the Xiaomi Redmi 10X series, Redmi X TV, and RedmiBook 16 is expected to be launched by August 27, 2020.
